I have been thinking that maybe by having an actual mIRC chat, we could get more members. I have the feeling that having an mIRC chat, more people would want to stay online, our forums would get more attention, and we'd get members. Lots, if everything worked out. Opening up an mIRC chatroom could really put us on the map in more ways than imagined.

However, a speed bump.

I'd need somebody else who is familiar with mIRC chat, and can troubleshoot if necessary. This person would be a Moderator, possibly Co-Admin in the chatroom.

I'm still thinking about this and am learning more about mIRC myself. I don't even know if setting up an mIRC chat on this type of forum is possible!! Can somebody else more experienced with mIRC tell me more about that?

Basically, a very large network of computers that can communicate back and forth. mIRC, I'm guessing, is one of the (if not THE) most popular chatting option in the world.

oh yeah, and then there's the whole "talking to people" thing... that sounds good too...

Lol! I'm looking into it. I still feel that overall site design and navigation is somewhat sloppy and needs more work, so once I have a couple hours I'd really like to focus on making that stuff better first.
