But to get the topic on track, I am currently a security officer (call me what you want... rent-a-cop, lazy, cage kicker, pig, donut killer, I've heard them all. Actually kinda like the sound of Donut Killer, has a ring to it).
The security thing is strictly temporary. I finish my law enforcement degree next spring. I am currently undergoing the hiring process at a police department here. I have extremely high expectations for myself as soon as I am done with schooling. I plan on working patrol for 5-6 years, will try to jump on a full or part time SWAT or CNT (Crisis Negotiation Team) while on patrol, hopefully as a marksman or a rear guard (the big mean looking bastard with the Benelli).
Later in my career I'd love to be a homicide detective. And finally, DEA is not out of the picture for me.
