My name is Nate (no, really, it is), and I live in Antarctica.

I really don't, but I live in Wisconsin, which is basically the same thing. Tonight we've got wind chill temperatures dropping to as low as -50 zero (Fahrenheit). That speaks for itself. Its actually freaking deadly cold outside. I can usually stand the cold pretty well, but when you have wind this strong, I'm like a little girl. I run for the house.

Anyway, I am a former Playstation fan, had the PSone, had the PS2, and was planning on getting the PS3 years before any actual console designs even surfaced. ..but, I didn't (thankfully) and am now proud to say that I own the best gaming console available (besides top-end PCs of course) and I am 100% fully satisfied with my 360. I've only encountered minor problems thus far, overheating, disc read problems, nothing too major. I do dread the RRoD just like every other 360 gamer, and I guess I've been lucky. I do plan on purchasing the Xbox 360 Elite once I am able to.

As you can see, I'm a hardcore Elder Scrolls fan. I've played through the entire game several times, including the Shivering Isles. I pretty much know it blindfolded. I'm a lazy, thoughtless bastard. At least thats what my ex girlfriend's opinion was. But... I'm a casual gamer. Used to be somewhat hardcore console gamer, however through the years I've migrated to the PC... I have a 360 and hopefully that will get me the rest of the games that don't end up on PC... And hopefully it'll last long enough in this bullshit console war so I don't have to throw down money for another system. I'm mostly a FPS and platform gamer, throw in a few racing sims and strategy, and I will be a happy fellow.

Not to be overly boastful, but since my busy schedule only permits me to play games once or twice a week, I feel that my gaming must be the best possible experience I can cram into a few hours... For this I enlisted the assistance of an old (new when i bought it) Harman Kardon AVR65 with 5.1 surround sound. It consists of a 12"inch 500watt subwoffer, 2 Bose 301 speakers, 2 Bose 201 speakers (both direct reflecting), and a Bose VCS10 center. Complete with big and badass 42" LG flatpanel television.

With this I not only witness the decapitation of my body by Rocket in Halo 3... I can feel it, hear it, and watch it shoot up my ass and rip apart my innards with the upmost resolution and attention to detail. Now granted your body in Halo 3 doesn't actually blow up into chunks of blobby gibs like it would in other games like... Quake III. But I have to say, the voracity of some of these attacks and how they are reproduced here would lead you to believe that you just died a very painful, very agonizing death... Nothing fuels your thirst for revenge more.... Kick ass and chew bubble gum fellas!!! I've been waiting for the sequel to that f**king game in like FOREVER!!!!
