my buddy josh has one and heres what i make of it:

Pros: good workout, some fun multiplayer, don't need a HDTV, newer releases look to be pretty cool.

cons:most of the games feel half baked and a bit tedious, the i have liked was just a redo of a perfectly fine game for the PS2 (rez 4)


although Mario galaxy does look pretty awesome

iuno it seems to me like this!
like mario galaxy is great its fun i could even say its almost worth buying the wii
but then the sensible part of me kicks in and say one game?
oh hell no! all the rest of the game i have seen and played seem like mini games when compared to other consoles even the psp seems like the games are thought over better than the wii who nos maybe something good will come out other than galaxy but personaly id hold out till that day!

yeah galaxy does look pretty cool, but it's not worth forking out the money for.

Unless I get abnormally huge by sitting in my video chair playing my trusty 360, I'm not getting one. (If I do get abnormally huge, it'll provide a great multiplayer workout, then its back to the 360)

My gf wants one, but she also wants a house and money and horses and..yeah. It might be the first thing I dish out 250 bucks for ..when I actually can afford to buy another system.

My beef with the Wii is it cannot handle complex games. Sure, it'd be freakin awesome to be able to swing a sword or hold a torch or cast magical spells in Oblivion from the controller..but it cannot run those bigger types of games, simply..because the 360 is the best in the graphics dept, and that's what I look for in my games.

you want a work out on the wii? play mario and sonic and do the swimming game, its the first time I've felt tired from playing a game
